The Brooklyn Strand Community Vision Plan, developed by WXY in collaboration with residents, community groups, elected officials, and City agencies, reimagines nearly 50 acres of green spaces from Borough Hall to the Brooklyn waterfront. The plan includes recommendations for a "Gateway to Brooklyn" at the Brooklyn Bridge, a market under the bridge in Dumbo, reopening the Brooklyn War Memorial, and improving connectivity between isolated open spaces by realigning BQE ramps.

WXY and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) crafted the Downtown Brooklyn Public Realm Action Plan for the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership to help transform the area’s plazas and streets into a cohesive, pedestrian-friendly network. Addressing the challenges of rapid growth, the plan prioritizes connectivity, green spaces, and modern infrastructure to enhance the district’s vibrancy and livability.
