The architect William N. Breger passed away on February 23 at the age of 92. His most memorable work, and the one he defended most fiercely, was the Tribeca Synagogue on White Street, which he designed in 1967. In 2008, WXY Principal Claire Weisz designed a new reception area for the synagogue that complements the dynamic curvature of Mr. Breger’s design. He will be missed as a long-time member of the NYC architectural community.
