Marketing Coordinator

 

Position Overview

 

WXY is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with strong visual and communication skill to assist the firm with proposal production, development of marketing collateral, and related marketing activities. Working under the direction of the Marketing Manager, and in conjunction with the firm Principals and Directors. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to work as a team player under tight deadline situations. The candidate will know current graphic layout software and have proficient writing skills. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.  The candidate will be part of the Marketing Team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere and must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Assist with external communication initiatives, including website, award submissions, social media, and PR activities.

 

Assist with internal communications, studio events and announcements.

 

Support photo and video management, including head shots, project photography, image database.

 

Assist with coordinating with photographers, videographers for new project images or footage.

 

Assist with updating and maintaining web content.

 

Assist with coordination, development, and production of proposals, qualification packages, and presentation materials, lectures, interview materials and awards submissions.

 

Assist with development and maintenance of marketing collateral such as resumes, project sheets, project images and other materials.

 

Coordination and planning of special events.

 

Report directly to the Marketing Manager and work collaboratively with firm Principals and Directors.

 

Support business development initiatives as required.

 

 

Experience & Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, architecture, or related field.

 

1-3 years of experience in marketing and/or architectural, urban design or planning fields.

 

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier).

 

Exceptional attention to detail.

 

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Strong graphic design sensibility.

 

Must have a knowledge of marketing and business development.

 

Knowledge of landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, and/or architecture.

 

Highly organized.

 

Experience with social media management and an understanding of social media strategies.

 

Outgoing personality with strong organizational, collaboration and communication skills.

 

Great time management and sense of humor is a must.
