WXY has been selected for three grants through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s (NYSERDA) Clean Mobility Program. With this support, WXY will lead feasibility studies exploring shared electric mobility options that expand access, reduce emissions, and connect communities.
In Kingston, WXY will partner with the City of Kingston to design a citywide clean mobility program, assessing bike and scooter sharing, electric ridesharing, micromobility charging hubs, and incentives for bike and scooter ownership.
A regional bike-share system linking Newburgh and Beacon will take shape through WXY’s collaboration with The Fullerton. This study will determine station locations, technical needs, and operational partnerships to establish a seamless, sustainable network.
In Hunts Point, WXY will work with The Point to expand an electric shuttle service, refining routes, service hours, and outreach strategies to align with local needs.
These projects underscore a broader movement toward zero-emission transportation, ensuring that clean, efficient mobility solutions are not only imagined but implemented. WXY is proud to contribute to this future, shaping infrastructure that serves both people and the planet.
